I’m proud to be the part of the latest Netflix animated show - Mulligan, which is an animated comedy series from Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
As the Rigging Supervisor of this show, I’ve established rigging and technical production pipeline together with Animation leads, while also managing and maintain quality assurance over 8 internal rigging artists. Together with the team we have established various advanced rigging methods to ensure animation capabilities.
It was a great pleasure working with the team over hundreds of rigs, and it has been great challenges working on Matty and Tod’s rigs!
The production went smooth and it was a great experience with the Bentobox team!
Tod is one of the most complex character that I’ve ever encountered. His body has various rotation joints, also with an arm that contains different forms. For simpler animation capability, I’ve setup master controllers for all key components so the upper body can rotate by itself, and both arms can be rotate and bend with sliders.
