TOT was designed as a re-skin based on the successful Battle Bears Ultimate game structure that was meant to be a brand new IP to open our user base and reach out to older audiences. 

The game was designed with fantastic ideas.

Character wise, inspired by Overwatch, we have think outside the box and designed all kinds of characters that can exist in this same universe. What we were trying to do was to create a world that everyone could find their favorite character in it. In GDD we also created individual stories for every characters, and make sure that they cross over each other's pass in this universe.

Character wise, we also tried to merge the existing Battle Bears universe into this one, which we tried to make the cartoony characters more humanoid and grown-up to fit this new direction LoL. 

We took the lessen from BBU, tried to further optimized controlling system and make sure the game is easy enough for even beginners to pick up. Therefore, we changed the in-game camera view to 3rd person, and placed the character closed to the center of the screen, so that environment and space around the character would be easier to see. This solves many complains regarding to hard to rotate camera and aim and such, because players have more control on the character and the environment with in.

We also took good lessen from  BBU's UI design, tried to get rid of the PC UI language, which was the text form of UI. We replace most UI pieces with symbols and image icons, so that on a small mobile device, it would be easier and more straight forward for players to view and read.

On the gaming side, to make sure the game is snappy that could be played during fragmentary time, the UI flow was designed to be fast pasted. From main menu to battle could be as easy as 2 taps, once player died in game, it only takes 5 sec to re-spawn, so players could enjoy game more. Also added in skill system, so players can experience difference fancy and special attacks from each character. 

In additional to all major design decisions that we have made, we also mapped out BETA rewards and Launch rewards road map to involve more fans and loyal players to support the production.
